Pin Yin: shao yang bing
Symptoms:
acute, becoming fatigue; heat effusion (fever), intermittent alternating with chills; heat effusion (fever) breaks with onset of heavy sweating.
dry mouth and throat; thirst but no desire to swallow; decreased appetite.
nausea relieved by vomiting.
Pain: distension; pain; of ribside; of chest; soreness or ache; of whole body.
Sensory abnormalities: bitter taste, spontaneous; faintness, syncope; loss of balance; vision blurred.
Sleep: irregular, disturbed.
Affect: agitated or restless; irritable.
Signs:
Tongue Body: normal or reddish or dusky.
Tongue Coat: thick; greasy; white or gray.
Pulse: bowstring.
