Pin Yin: han zhi gan mai
Symptoms:
-- Similarities to Interior Cold and Liver Qi Depression.
: aversion to cold.
thirst, diminished; prefers hot drinks.
pale urine; diarrhea or loose stool.
Pain: distension; heavy, dragging pain or discomfort; of groin; pain; of torso; relieved by heat; relieved by lying down.
Activity and movement: slow.
speech: slow.
Affect: withdrawn.

Tongue Coat: white; wet.
Pulse: bowstring; sinking; slow.

--Warm Interior; especially herbs like Fr Foeniculi and Fr Evodiae that enter Liver Channel .
--Regulate Qi; especially herbs like Fr Meliae Toosendan, Rx Sausurreae, and Rx Bupleuri that enter Liver Channel .

-- Quicken Blood, Transform Stasis
-Supplement Qi; especially herbs that are not stagnating and help to regulate Qi and transform Dampness.
-Supplement Blood.
