Symptoms:
fatigue; aversion to heat; heat effusion.
labored breathing;
appetite, lack of; absence of thirst; [or] thirst but no desire to swallow; prefers cold drinks.
dark urine ; diarrhea or loose stool; diarrhea alternating with constipation; stools with foul odor; nausea; vomiting.
Pain: oppressive, distended pain; of ribside; of epigastrium; of upper abdomen; relieved by cold; aggravated by pressure or touch.
Activity and movement: , sluggish.
Signs:
Tongue Body: red.
Tongue Coat: yellow; thick; greasy.
Pulse: rapid; strong; slippery.
Complexion, other: complexion orange-yellowish.

-- Clear Heat, Dry Dampness
--Aromatic-transform Dampness
--Drain Dampness, Promote Urination; especially those herbs like Poria that strengthen Spleen and are not harsh.

-Transform Cold Phlegm; especially herbs like Rz Pinelliae that resolve Dampness and Phlegm of Middle Burner, and even though warm in nature, can be combined with other bitter-cold herbs to provide the appropriate overall effect.
--Regulate Qi
-- Clear Summer Heat; especially those that also resolve Dampness and strengthen Spleen.
