   Releases Exterior; can be used for both Hot and Cold Exterior patterns depending on herbs with which it is combined.
   Beneficial for Exterior patterns with underlying chronic Vacuity of Yin because of its mildness.
   Alleviates agitation, vexation, and stuffiness of chest during recuperation from Exterior Heat disharmonies.
