Primary action: Drain Dampness, Promote Urination
Secondary actions: Fortify or Strengthen Spleen (Supplement Qi) ; Transform Cold Phlegm ; Nourish Heart and Calm Spirit
Temperature: neutral
Taste: bland to slightly sweet
Entering Channel: Lu, Sp, Ht, UB

Actions:
   Promotes urination and leaches Dampness; used in edema or scanty urination caused by Dampness Stagnation or Damp Heat.
   Fortifies Spleen and harmonizes Middle Burner.
   Fortifies Spleen and transforms Phlegm.
   Calms the Heart and Spirit.

Indications: edema, phlegm, inhibited urination, diarrhea, palpitations, insomnia, loose stool, poor appetite

Dosage: 2-5 qian; up to 20 qian in cases of acute facial edema.
