Botanical name: Curcumae zedoariae (Berg.) Rosc.

Primary action: Quicken Blood, Transform Stasis
Secondary actions: Rectify Qi; Disperse Food Accumulation
Temperature: warm
Taste: bitter, acrid
Entering Channel: Lv, Sp

Actions:
   Quickens Blood, Transforms Stasis, Moves Qi and relieves pain, especially of the abdomen and epigastrium.
   Disperses Food Accumulation.
   Used for childhood Nutritional Impairment (use small doses).
   This herb has specific antineoplastic effect and has been used in cases of cervical cancer.
