Primary action: Stop Bleeding
Secondary actions: Cool Blood; Stop Cough and Wheezing; Transform Hot Phlegm

Taste: bitter, astringent

Actions:
   Cools Blood and stops bleeding; can be used for either Blood Heat or Cold patterns depending upon herbs combined with it.
   Stops cough and expels Lung Phlegm Heat.
   Promotes healing of burns when used topically.

Dosage: 2-5 qian in decoctions; use powder as an ointment base for burns.
